Papers by David Lewis

I thought some of you might find Andrew Bailey's collection of David Lewis papers interesting. Lewis is wrong about a lot, but he's one of the finest prose stylists in recent analytic ontology and his papers usually have something of value in them.

  1. He was excellent, nonetheless. Thank you for providing the collection. Any chance that you will write more on skepticism? Also, i was wondering if you would explore skepticism in the form of representationalism (in regard to perception) perhaps from a scientific standpoint, like neuroscience or cognitive science. I imagine that most of the contributors to this excellent blog (including the readers) are naive realists of some sorts, but maybe it could perhaps add even more ideas into the skepticism portion of the blog that you have greatly elucidated on. Maybe even the skepticism of Madhyamaka and Yogacara (to a lesser extent) schools of Mahayana Buddhism could be included in the near future if you find the time.

I'm planning to write at least one more article on skepticism. Probably not right away.

You're the second person to ask about Buddhist skepticism.
